Ultraviolet disinfecting lamp with sterilizing and disinfecting functions, contains formaldehyde for odor elimination. UVC tube made of silica glass.
The lamp has a built-in motion detector, the light turns off when a person, child or pet is detected in the room. Recommended operating time is 15, 30 or 60 minutes per day depending on the size of the space.
Press the button to go into the delayed start function, the luminaire will turn on in 10 seconds. ON/OFF ONLY function with no delayed turn on.

The cell nucleus of microorganisms (bacteria and viruses) contains thymine, a chemical element found in DNA/RNA. This element absorbs UV-C light at a specific wavelength of 253.7 nm and modifies it so that the cell is no longer able to reproduce.
The UV-C light (253.7 nm) penetrates the cell wall of the microorganism. High-energy photons from UV-C rays are absorbed by cellular proteins and DNA/RNA, UV-C light damages the protein structure and causes metabolic changes. The DNA/RNA is chemically altered so that the organisms can no longer replicate and CANNOT cause disease or make it worse.
Compared to V-UV light (185 nm), UV-C light is much safer. V-UV light (185 nm) also kills microorganisms but creates ozone which is harmful to humans. It is used for larger, mostly industrial areas.
Safety requirements
The luminaire is powered by 220-240 V AC, you must comply with the mandatory precautionary standards when using the luminaire.
It is forbidden to use the luminaire with a damaged cover, bulb or power cable. Avoid contact of the luminaire with moisture.
ATTENTION!!! The germicidal bulbs used in the luminaire are low-pressure lamps and contain mercury in the form of amalgam. Use of the luminaire with any defective bulb is prohibited.
CAUTION!!! The bulb supplied with the luminaire emits sterilizing ultraviolet radiation in the UV-C range.
CAUTION!!! The ultraviolet radiation from the bulb supplied with the luminaire is harmful to the eyes and skin. The presence of people, animals, flowers and plants is prohibited in a room with the germicidal lamp on.
It is forbidden to handle the lamp in any way while it is switched on.
