From the garage to Europe: How DECOLED turned into Story of Lights

Family-owned DECOLED began its journey in 1997, growing from a small garage into a leader in Christmas and decorative lighting. From the first LED lights to commissions for cities and shopping centres across Europe, we have always believed that lights can tell stories.

The Christmas Courtyard in Dobrovíz - the beginning of our story

In 2012, we opened the Christmas Courtyard in Dobrovíz. We transformed this historic farmhouse into a place where light, tradition and community meet. Visitors came here not only for the decorations, but also for the experience - the workshops, the music and the magical Christmas atmosphere.

Lights tell a story - the first light parks

A new format organically grew out of the Christmas Court - Lights Tell. Light parks and expositions where LED installations, music and art come together in a unique experience. Projects in Prague, the regions and abroad have shown that people crave a story that they can not only see, but also experience.

Story of Lights - a new chapter

The year 2025 is another big milestone for us. We are transforming our brand into a new identity DECOLED - Story of Lights. Our two websites decoled.cz (eshop) and storyoflights.eu (pre-sale of tickets for light parks) connect products, stories and experiences.
